Considering I ran 12 miles last night- I can completely understand her sentiments. I also came across a great add in a runners journal the other day- it goes as follows:
You might be a runner if…
-you enjoy running hills
-you have chafing in strange places
-people say, “you run three miles…at once?
-you eat your weight in spaghetti
-your toenails are black
-your shoes have more miles on them than your car
-you can say “fartlek” with a straight face
-four minutes is a sacred duration of time
-you always stretch while waiting in line for coffee
-you combine phrases like “ten miles” and “easy run”
-you can say Plantar Fasciitis and lliotibal Band Syndrome- and know what they are
I thought this was funny- have a nice one!
